Greetings, I noticed you have not updated in months, are you still trading this method? If so, how is it going lately? Can you give an update?

Yes, I'm still trading this method without any issues. It is still the best system I have found trading a Basket of CCY's at one time. Haven't posted anything on the blog because no one comments so it would seem to me there is no interest. Just not enough people trading with BTS is all and on top of that hardly anyone that does will share any info which is very depressing.

Hi Dave,

Got to your interesting blog after covering the T101 discusssions in tsd and FF inclusive. With the exception of the 55% DD your results are really impressive. Couldn't find anywhere any discussion of particular implementation. Is there any post here that can shed some light?

Thanks, Trendik

Trading BTS takes some time to learn and is best done by using a demo account. There is enough info of FF started by Julius to learn and test along with your personal trading style. Alot of traders get wrapped up on DD but thats the nature of trading baskets. You dont always get the perfect entry so its best to use the correct lot size based on your account size to prepare for this before entering the trade. This is not the reason for my 55% DD.

Hi Dave, I assume that the candle chart represents your basket (i.e. a weighted average of several currencies). For each candle you need to calculate open, close, high and low. Open and close are now problem. What's the meaning of the highs and lows in those candles? (they don't occur in the same time in all basket members)? Is it just the weighted average of the maxs and mins?

So, what was the reason for your 55% DD?

Regards.
